Rosie’s approach to therapy is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), a practical, evidence-based model that focuses on the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. She works collaboratively with clients to identify unhelpful patterns, build effective coping tools, and create meaningful, lasting change. Rosie strives to create a warm, supportive space where therapy feels both empowering and actionable.
Rosie often works with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, and the overwhelm that can come from balancing multiple roles and responsibilities. Whether clients feel stuck in cycles of overthinking, self-criticism, or emotional burnout, she helps them gain clarity, strengthen resilience, and move forward with greater confidence.
Her style is compassionate, collaborative, and practical. Rosie believes therapy isn’t about fixing someone; it’s about helping individuals better understand themselves, expand their coping skills, and create change in a way that feels grounded and intentional.
Rosie earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Wyoming and her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University. She is currently practicing as a Provisional Professional Counselor (PPC) and is working toward full licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), with an anticipated completion date of May 1, 2026.
Since July 2023, Rosie has provided therapy in a community mental health center setting, working with clients across diverse ages, backgrounds, and life circumstances. This experience has strengthened her ability to tailor evidence-based interventions to each individual’s unique needs while maintaining a compassionate, client-centered approach.
