A Trauma-Informed, Whole-Person Approach
Our treatment model emphasizes EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and Somatic interventions as core components of healing. Trauma and chronic stress are not only stored in thoughts ~ they are held in the nervous system and body.
Through EMDR, we help you safely reprocess distressing memories so they no longer feel immediate, overwhelming, or defining. Somatic approaches support nervous system regulation, body awareness, and restoration of a felt sense of safety. Together, these methods reduce symptoms of PTSD, chronic anxiety, and depression at their roots.
We also integrate cognitive restructuring techniques to help you identify and shift unhelpful thought patterns that reinforce hopelessness, shame, or fear. Depression often narrows perception and strengthens negative beliefs about oneself and the future. By gently examining and reshaping these patterns, we support the development of more balanced, realistic, and empowering ways of thinking.
